null Put a set of these with nickel covers in a 16’ les Paul traditional along with their standard long shaft wiring kit. They have improved the sound of the guitar 10 fold. For ambient room filling cleans, 80’s metal, grunge or event Djent these can really do it all. I was worried the high output of the bridge would get to harry under light playing but it’s actually a clean pickup when you want it to be. The neck is very round and smooth for those upper fret solos. They’re like double hot PAF’s, plenty of mid range push, and tight palm mutes without being over the top like a modern metal humbucker.

Great balance with the Classic Loaded in a Flying V bridge position. Wanted some octane in the bridge paired with smooth and creamy Classic in neck. Great combo for this guitar. Nice articulate for leads wide open and cleans up nicely for picking at lower settings.

null Got the bridge position for my goth explore. LOVE IT!!! output states 16k, I was getting 16.2. amazing string to string blending. Can push it hard and it sings. Would highly recommend. And turn it back just a bit and it cleans up great without muddying up like the stock pick up did. I had EMG's in my other guitar, and these sound way better

Most Well Rounded Pickup I just installed this pickup into my Les Paul with a mahogany body and flamed maple top and wow this pickup rips. Its a very versatile pickup in that its has very clear and articulate on chords and single notes but has that nice rounded smooth sound on the treble side. Its not harsh or shrill on the high strings which is really nice. I also love that the it has enough chunk and bite to still sound "metal" when it needs to but just a great overall pickup. Also I just have the bridge pickups. I need to buy the neck pickup asap. Don't Hesitate and buy this is your fan of btbam or just want a really versatile pickup!!!

Extremely Versatile Pickup I own the bridge version with an alnico 5 magnet and zebra bobbins. This pickup is paired with a custom pickup ordered from mojotone which is a humbucker that is constructed to sound more like a P90.
When I first ordered this pickup, I was slightly skeptical about humbuckers in general, as the band I perform with mainly uses single-coil guitars. Over the years, I have grown more accustomed to the dynamic response of single coils as many of the mainstream marketed humbuckers don't seem to have the air and freedom that single coils seem to have.
This pickup, however, totally changed my perspective on humbuckers. Speaking solely for the bridge pickup, I strummed full barre chords in the bridge position and it amazed me how much of the tonal spectrum I could hear in one strum. Coming from the stock pickups of a Reverend, this thing totally reshaped the sound of this guitar into an extremely dynamic, responsive, and wide sound that I would not have expected to get from a humbucker. It stays tight with a very nice low end resonance that fills out the chords. The mids aren't overbearing and keep a very open sound to the pickup. The highs are present but not ice picky, yet you can push it to get a treble attack if you really dig in. This pickup responds extremely well to whatever playstyle you are throwing at it, and that was exactly what I was looking for in a pickup,
Even my bandmates who all play single-coil equipped guitars were skeptical about how my sound would change with a humbucker equipped guitar, but even they were blown away by how dynamic my guitar sounded with the new humbuckers. We play music from alt rock to post-rock/ambient-rock and this guitar can cover all of those bases without getting muddied up or bogged down by the heavy use of effects that we employ (another reason we gravitated towards single coils as single coils seem able to hold up to the heavy effects better than humbuckers).
This pickup is a great workhorse pickup, as it will cover all bases for virtually any genre of music. The pickup adapts to however you use it, so if having a very open, dynamic, responsive pickup is your goal then get this one.
